Suzie Q by Jenny / Jenny

To Suzie Q Holly

Ever since I was a little girl, my passion was dogs. My Dad gave a very special Christmas gift to us in 1992.

Suzie was just six months old at the time and instantly she was showered with love and affection. Ever since that time, she has proven more faithful and
loyal than even humans have.

She has been our constant companion and friend.
Suzie enjoyed going for rides with us, playing outside with our horse, and enjoying being with her family. She could never be without us ever as she loved us so very much.

We have given her the best home any dog could ask for as she always have fresh water, a good meal, and she even kept me company at night as she slept on my bed faithfully for over twelve years.

Just recently, Suzie became really sick. We thought it might be cancer. She could not play like she used to. In the last days of her precious life, she could not seem to catch her breath. She would pant so heavily and constantly which broke our hearts even more to see her suffer.

After so many operations and days filled with hope that things would turn around, my parents took her to the vet to end the misery and suffering of our faithful and loyal friend.

Just a few days past now without our Suzie. My, have we grieved. I have lost my best friend, my constant companion. I sometimes think that she is still here with me. Awaiting a hug or a fresh walk outside.

I sometimes look out the window expecting her to be chasing butterflies like she loved to do.

We humans can learn alot by these animals.

I will never forget you Suzie and you will always remain in my heart. You are a part of me and I am so thankful for your love.

You know, I am a Christian and I believe with all my heart that I will see Suzie again in Heaven. I believe that she is playing with all our pets who have left this world and
is now awaiting our arrival.
