I am writing this tribute on behalf of my fiance, Jeff for his beautiful and most unusual kitty, Vasquez. She was 9 years old when she passed away in the fire. She was a petite feminine girl that wasn’t afraid of water, like most cats. She had no problem being right at the shower when Jeff was in there. She would hang out on top of the 200 gallon fish tank and stick her paw in for a drink. Jeff believed in treated his animals fairly, so when she came up for a pet he’d pat her on the head, like a dog and say, nice dog. She loved it and him. She would sleep with his son Josh at night and when he wasn’t there, she’d sleep by us.
She died on the same day her doggy friend died, in the fire. Her nose also buried in the carpet. We know she suffered, scared, but know she’s in God’s hands now.
We love and miss you.
