Buck by Jeff Joynt / Dad, Michelle and Josh

I am writing this as a tribute to my beautiful Buck on behalf of my fiancé, Jeff. I have been with them for 8 months and grew to love a dog that everyone loved. He was youthful and bouncy and loving. He would get on his hind legs and dance with me. He would let Jeff’s son, Josh, ride him. He minded so well and laid by us every night. He protected Josh. He would jump up in the air letting his legs leave the ground.
I swore he wished he could fly.

He was 3 years old when the house burnt. He was found in the basement with his nose to the ground. Smoke inhalation. We miss him so much and know he suffered. If not from the smoke, but from the fact that he was scared and wondered where we were. We miss you so much, Buck. May you be in God’s arms.
