The last couple of weeks you were alive, you showed me what it was like to love and be selfless. I knew how much pain you must have been going through and you still hung in there for me. You were my best friend and the best listener. Though half the time I think you were confused that you were a cat instead of a dog, you brought me joy when I came home and you were there. You always knew when I was sad and would look at me and purr like you were telling me it’s going to be ok. I know you’re happy now and living without pain and I can’t wait until the day that we are together again.
