You’re one of the best things that ever happened to me!! I can still remember the day that I adopted you from the shelter. You were already an adult and they weren’t sure of your birthday. Nothing mattered except the way you looked at me. I’ll never forget, Punkin.
You were my best friend for 13 years. I can only hope that you had half as much fun as I did. You filled up my heart & soul… When the time came, you looked at me again, with those eyes, as if to say you’ve had enough. It was so hard to let you go. But I know that you are no longer suffering.
I’m writing this tribute 2 months shy of the 1 year anniversary that we said good-bye, but nothing is getting any easier for me. I miss you, Punk. I love you.
