IN MEMORY OF DEAN ROSSETTI: APIL 15 2003
we light this candle to as a symbol of the life that Dean lived. For me light symbolizes strengh of light over darkness. Even a tiny flame lights up the darkest place. We light this candle as a symbol of Dean’s life.
NO GOODBYES
this poem is dedicated
to: Dean Rossetti
DIED:April 15 2003

You left without saying goodbye.
The tears are falling from my eyes.
I sit here woundering why!
I miss you a great deal.
I hate your actions
but I loved you as a brother
and I always will.
The thought that I could have helped you
is still back of my mind.
Why did you not have called.
I would have listen!
You must have been in so much pain.
I know you are in a much better place
as the days go by it will get better,
but I will never forget you and how
you were the light of my life for a short little while.

YOU ARE MY ANGEL SENT FROM HEAVEN!

CREDO: by Kathy Kay
I believe no pain is lost.
No tear unmasked.
No cry of anguish dies unheard.
No man or bird is crushed or unseen
without wounded hands which shaped the cosmos.
Reshaping still the bits and pieces
of who we are
And what in spite of life’s cruel accidents
We yet shall be.

PRAYER: in the rising of the sun and in its going down
WE REMEMBER HIM
in the blowing of the wind and in the chill of winter
WE REMEMBER HIM
in the opening of buds and in the warmth of the summer
WE REMEMBER HIM
in the rustling of leaves and colours of autumn
when we are weary and in need of strength
WE REMEMBER HIM
in the beginning of the year and when it ends
WE REMEMBER HIM
when we are lost and sick at heart
WE REMEMBER HIM
when we have joys we yearn to share
WE REMEMBER HIM
so long as we live, Dean shall live for he is a part of us
WE REMEMBER HIM
God of grace and love, ee thank you for Dean who was special to us and who has gone before us into the eternity of love within your heart. We thank you for the friendship he gave and all that he brought to our lives. We pray that nothing from his life will be lost, but will be of benefit to our world. That all that was important to him will be respected by those who follow and that everything that made Dean unique will continue to mean to us, now that he has died. We ask that he may he go on living in the hearts and minds of his friends and family. We pray for ourselves that we do not become overwhelmed or isolated by our grief, nor seek refuge from our pain but to walk with courage and faith through our sadness. May we be granted confidence and hope in the promise of new life in God. Amen.
A RAY OF LIGHT

The days are getting better like a ray light
thinking of ways to make it right.
The rain cloud is not over my head anymore
instead the sun is shining on me.
With the lord’s help I will pass this hard test.
Yes my friend is in Heaven now and even though
it wasn’t in the Lord’s plan maybe it was for the best.

Please Lord keep eye on my dear lost friend.
Maybe you can say hi for me and tell him
how I love and miss him so
Lord grant me a way to communicate with him
like I do with my dear grandma.

Let's carry Dean in our remembering into our daily lives
and know that his life is safe
