Shooster by Sandie Sigrist / Mom, Jack, Justin, and Quicha

My man. My special, wonderful, kind, gentle, loving, sweet, beautiful friend.
From the moment I saw you, when you were just a tiny little fluff ball, I knew you were going to be special in my life. You have been for 19 years.
You’ve brought such love and joy to every day, every moment, I looked into your beautiful face. The total, unconditional love I feel for you transcends any words that are available to me. You showed me the same love in return every single day of your beautiful life. Very selfishly I hoped you’d be immortal. That wasn’t to be.
Your little body began to fail you and too soon you became too ill for us to allow you to suffer.
Because I was grieving so much I didn’t tell you everything I wanted to say before you closed your eyes and left us. I hope these words can help do that.
You will be missed more than I know how to express. Our home will not be the same without you meeting me at the door every night when I come home, or waking me up at 5 a.m. to feed you, or you holding my hand while sleeping with me. You will be in our hearts for the rest of our days and not a moment will go by without you in my thoughts with love and peace.
You be in peace my biggest man in the world and may God smile on you every day as we all will.
