A sweet big golden eyed Persian wondering the neighborhood looking for food &
affection. You were brought to me all matted up and large bald areas where
you had licked off your hair because it was so painful. You were skin &
bones. Starving due to an owners neglect.
I’m glad they gave you up to my cousin. So with a pom pom doo, shots and a
proper diet you came along, though very slowly. You weren’t much to look at
but your sweetness suckered me in. Then I was saddened to learn later at
just 7 yrs. old you had acute kidney disease. But you seemed to fight it
with all your might till the very end.
Three months was too short for me and too long for you. You knew you had
found a good loving home and didn’t want to leave. But you were starting to
suffer too much and I couldn’t bear to see it any longer. And you haven’t
left! You will always be in my memories. How you always jumped in my lap
every time when called, and slept with me every single night and you loved
that laser light in the beginning. You were happy! You knew you were loved
and as much a part of the family as the other 3 kitties.
So my sweet Sammy Hagar, as you were affectionately called, I will meet you
at the Rainbow Bridge and miss you till then. Emma will miss you too! Now be
the sweet Angel cat and don’t forget to play fair with your new friends.
I Love You,
