He was a 6 month old little ball of fur when he became part of this family and he was with us for 15 1/2 years. He had a busy life, he raised Cody and Amanda and was a best friend to all of us. He waited every day for the schools bus and greeted them with a bright smile when they arrrived. He watched them grow, learn to drive and date. He kept me company as I waited for them to come home at night. He watched them both become young adults.
Snoopy was my comfort when Cody left for the Army and again when Manda left for college. He loved the kids and knew they would come and go and always love him.
Snoopy helped us raise Sniper – even though he did not think we needed a ‘dog’ in the family. He was my little buddy. We spent many hours in the garden and had many conversations – he always agreed with me.
On his last day with us we played in the yard and he got lots of belly rubs. Even though it was hard for him to get around, he was a puppy at heart!!
On the day I brought him home to our family 15 1/2 years ago I hugged him tight and told him I loved him. And, when he left us he was in my arms as I hugged him and told him I loved him. He is no longer in pain. He can now run and play in God’s green grass.
We Love You Snoopy!!
