Little Annie … rescued in April 2009 by New Beginnings Shih Tzu & Friends Rescue and volunteer Jayne Samp, fostered first by Sharon and Kevin O’Donnell and then by us … now today is soaring with the angels, finally
free from pain and disability.
Blind and deaf, and plagued by liver disease and severe arthritis, this tiny girl’s strong spirit kept her persevering. She loved soft beds, warm sunshine on her face, and food … especially the treats! She couldn’t see and she couldn’t hear but she knew the minute the chicken
treats were being made available!
All life is precious … and we as rescuers especially rejoice when senior, sick and disabled pets find homes and hope.
They are the blessings, we are the blessed.
