The happiness she gave me over the years,
She helped me through bad times of sadness and tears.
We laughed together and had so much fun
We would walk and talk and laze in the sun.
Her eyes so sad brown and deep,
Our minds in tune secrets we keep.
She is old and frail her time is near
I am with her she knows I care.
Her tail still wags her nose still wet
My Dog my friend I am glad we met.
We will love you forever
