I know that it must be different,
now that I’m no longer there.
I realize how much I was loved
and how much you both did care.
I know it will be hard at first
when you look around for me.
Expecting to find me in my bed
or under my warm blankee.
Someday you will begin to see
although it will take sometime,
the happy times you shared with me.
the memories are yours and mine.
Memories of all the kisses and snuggling
that I so loved to give,
I know you’ll never forget those times,
in your heart they will always live.
My little toy froggy was my favorite toy
the squirrels would make me mad
those times were fun for me
they made me very glad
I’ll also remember you both and how much
you meant to me
So please don’t grieve and don’t be sad,
it was just my time to leave.
