To My Wonderful Family
I feel you sadness, see your tears,
but will you please smile for me..
Remember all the wonderful years we shared,
and the moments that came to be..
I watch you look through the photos of me,
and wish I were still around..
And now and then you will hear
the patter of my paws, and
you will so well know the sound..
I know it’s hard to take a walk
when everyone asks for me..
Please dry your tears and smile again,
I’m watching from the ripple tree..
You see I’m at the Rainbow Bridge,
it’s beauty is like nothing I’ve seen..
This special tree is there for all,
who need to see their family at home..
I feel your presence as I watch..
so please don’t feel alone..
I’ll always be your princess
as the years go flying by..
I’m with all the furkids
of your dear friends,
and they greeted me and taught me to fly..
Through the meadows green and lush
and the streams so clear and cool..
And all the foods and treats around..
well you know they make me drool..
So listen my dear family..
and feel me living in your hearts..
I’ll always be there loving you..
even though we are now apart..
When you think of me think happy thoughts..
and please try not to cry..
For one day we’ll be together again..
and never have to say bye bye…
