“Some dogs come into our lives and quietly go…
Others stay awhile and leave paw prints on our hearts
and we are never the same……..”
It is with a heavy heart and tears in my eyes that I say good-bye to a wonderful friend, the few short months you were in our lives you showed such bravery and devotion, You brought joy and laughter into our lives, especially when trying to steal a banana out of my hand…

Now as you are running through the clouds and look down watching me with your daughter I can smile now as I find that your little Tiffi has so many of your wonderful funny ways.

When Tiffi left Germany last week
she had never had a banana,
oddly enough she did the same as you
and tried to steal it right out of the hand,
and it seems too my funny friend,
she has your taste for sweet potatoes..

I know you understand that I did everything
I could to keep you with me and free of pain
Even in your final hours
you still wanted me by your side and
you knew I would not leave you
When you looked over at me
I was not sure what the look
in your eyes meant,
I only saw the sadness
And then you slowly laid
on your side took a breath and
you were gone, that was when I knew
as you looked over at me
for one last time,
you were saying good-bye….
Now my friend, you are at peace,
and your fight for life is over….
you will be missed a lot
but I have a lot of
wonderful memories to keep.

My love will always be with you until we meet again

Natan was the kind of dog that worked his way into your heart with no effort. He was a brave and loyal friend.I only had a short time with him before he was diagnosed with cancer and even though the odds were against him; he fought to stay with me, his devotion to me was incredible. I will always be thankful for the time we had together.
