I just lost my dog Ben to a massive heart attack which took
place on my front lawn as he was retrieving a rawhide bone.
I was thankful that my 3 year old daughter and I were not present when
the attack happened. Ben died in the arms of my husband within 30
seconds the whole thing was over or so I thought.
I can’t expressed the amount of pain I have been feeling.
I did not think of Ben as a pet but as part of my family.
I cry constantly!!! I think of all the great times we had as a family.
Ben was the most beautiful gently loving animal I have ever met.
I will continue to love and mourn him every day I am alive.
I can’t express the love I feel for him and the amount of sorrow I am
feeling at this very moment. My only comfort is that he was well
cared for and extremely loved. He was only 6 years old.
I just assumed we had many more years together.
I pray he is in heaven and will never ever forget the
great companion he was.
I love you with all of my heart. I miss you so much.
I hope the tears will stop so that I may remember
the great times we had together.
