Dog
I fell in love with her when I saw her in the cage with
her two brothers. The sign said $150.00 .
My fiancĂ© wasn’t all that thrilled with my purchase
but he soon got over it.
She was loved by the kids right away Maggie we named her.
She was one of the silliest dogs I had ever owned.
She loved all animals from the rats my daughter has to the
stray kittens we rescued. Oh yes how can we forget the squirrels.
She found these little creatures to be quite fun to watch from the
balcony of our home. Each morning she would eagerly wait at
the door so that she could be let outside and I would say “Maggie,
where the squirrels?)
She would wag her tail and shake her rump until she found her squirrels.
She began having seizures at the age of 1. They were few and far
between and we managed them well for the most part.
We made sure she got her epilepsy medicine each day.
Then in September of this year she took a turn for the worse.
She never acted ill and was always the same happy Maggie
looking for squirrels. She blessed us with many happy days and
awesome memories. She had her final seizure on Oct 5th and
suffered extensive brain damage and blindness.
My final act of love for my sweet sweet baby I put her down.
She is gone but not forgotten.
Maggie we love you silly girl.
Maggie get the squirrels go get them girl.
