Lhasa Apso
Our little Lhasa Apso Tidbit came into our lives just as we
were making the decision to move to a new city.
My kids were young and my husband decided they needed a
puppy to move with them. We bought Tidbit from a private breeder
and it was love at first sight! We couldn’t decide on a name for him
so my husband’s best friend said we should name him “Tidbit”
because he was just a tidbit of a dog.
We made our move and Taco Bell was giving away a Rainbow Sprite doll
called Murphy Sprite. I got it for my youngest son who was 2 at the time,
but Tidbit claimed it as his own. He still had one up to the time of his passing.
He won our hearts and became one of the kids. And it was so hard to make
the decision to let him go. He started passing blood a week ago
and the vet suspected a kidney infection. The bleeding got worse and
last Sunday we had to make the hardest decision ever.
But I didn’t want to see my little guy suffer. He’d been such a sweet dog for
16 years and it was his time to go.
So we said our good-byes and I got one last wet sweet kiss from him
told him I loved him and said good-bye.
Rest in peace my sweet Tibby
til we meet again.
Love,
Mommy
