Black Pitbull

I will never forget the day you came into my Life.

You popped your head out of the box you were in and when

you looked at me with those big brown eyes I was hopelessly head

over heels for you It was like God sent you to me because he

knew we needed each other. I never left the house without you.

You would fight over the front seat with your Children Jennifer

Derek and David.

They didn’t seem to mind it though. I remember the day your

leg started to bother you too I thought I could fix it I also thought it was

just a cramp or pulled Muscle,it wasn’t. I called your Vet Troy took you in

and he thought a torn ligament,so onto a specialist for surgery.

You handled things so much better than I did. When things with that didn’t

seem to be going right, they did more tests on you,the test came back

as bone cancer it was spreading so fast that I think we both knew

the time left was short. Troy gave me 3 months with you before I had to

make the choice to let you go I had to promise him myself and you that

when that day came,I wouldn’t fight it. You were unbelievable you

gained weight instead of loosing it.

Somewhere in my heart I thought we’d beat this thing.

Troy says he believes that you did this for me hung on until you

thought I was strong enough to handle what was coming.

I thank you for that. I was with you the day you left me.

That day changed my life you were gone forever never to touch you

hear your bark or have you there to cheer me up.

I know your still around I feel you everyday. I know you still watch

over your Ma and your children who miss you as much as I do.

You changed the lives of everyone who met you, because of you they

wanted a Pit instead of being afraid of the name.

You have touched the hearts of many but none like the way

YOU touched your Ma’s.

I Love You my Best Friend and

I Miss You Always!
