A gentle, sweet loving dog was he
a constant companion by my side.
He went everywhere with me.
A finer dog no man ever knew.
Now that you are gone whatever will I do.
You were my constant companion and friend.
True to me til the very end.
Playing ball was your favorite thing to do.
Oh! How I’ll miss doing that with you.
Now it will sure be lonesome here without you.
And I know I will be blue.
But I will never forget those years I spent with you.
I’ll always treasure those memories of our times together in my heart.
For I loved you deeply right from the start.
As much as I hated to bid you Adieu.
