Katie by Jeff DeWitt / PAPA.

Katy came to me when she was 6 weeks old back in 1986. I was 29. Now I’m 48. She was the runt of the litter never weighing over 5 pounds. I never married so it’s only been Katie and I. She became a huge part of my life. She was strickly an indoor kitty so when I’d walk in the door everyday from work I would get the biggest ” MEOW! you’ve ever heard. It was 18 and a half years of love that allowed my Katie to stay with me so long while fighting an uncurable intestinal disease. She’s been gone for 15 days now and my life is empty. Some day I might get another cat, but it will be awhile before I can let go of my little girl.

I love you little bitty baby girl.
