Squirty by Thomas & Sylvia Smith / Dad and Mom

She was found on a fencepost in a Wyoming snowstorm, still a nursing baby. Never found the mother, nor did we know from whence she came. She immediately moved in and made herself a part of the family. She was the most loyal and loving cat we’ve ever known. She would stare right into your eyes with her big green eyes, as if to say,
“Thank you for saving my life.”

She lived for 12 years before developing kidney failure. We first learned of it March 18, 2005. She was treated with fluids and antibiotics, but after weeks of treatment, her blood work showed too much damage. She had stopped eating, and was just generally feeling miserable. We felt it best not to put her through any more trauma and pain, so we let her go on April 15, 2005. Squirty, we miss you, and the other seven kitties miss you, too!! God bless you for blessing our lives!

We will always love you,
Squirty
