For my sister’s birthday, our mom and dad let us pick out guinea pigs. We went to the pet store and rushed to the guinea pig cages. I picked out an orange and black one with its hair sticking up. I called her “Spicey”. My sister picked out another guinea pig, cream and light brown, and called her “Caramel”.
We took them home, and put them in my room. Over the next few weeks, they were acting strangely. I took out Spicey one day, and when I went to put her back, I noticed two babies in her and Caramel’s cage. We gave one away, and kept one for our brother.
We took Spicey to the vet, and found out he was a boy! But it was too late. Two months later there were four more babies in the cage. We gave those babies away too. Now Spicey is in heaven, watching over all his little guinea-children.
i will always love him,
