We had our cockpoo, Andre, put to sleep and it broke our hearts. I contacted Adopt A Pet, in tears, about losing our beloved pet. They called back the next day, with a cockapoo that had been found abandoned outside a factory. The next day a woman brought him to my house. He was about 2-3 years old. I immediately fell in love with him although he was a little devil! He was the best
dog/companion we had ever had.
After 18 years of companionship, we took him to the vet after he was coughing a lot. They put him on the table for x-rays. The young vet told us he had a heart attack while on the table. They were doing everything they could to help him. An hour or so later we got the phone call. They couldn’t save him. I will never, ever in my life ever forget what a blessing he was to us. He will never be replaced.
