Diesel was found on a dark, rainy night. A friend of ours was driving down a busy street and saw a “black blob” in the middle of the road, so he stopped and opened up his passenger side door and the most adorable little black puppy jumped up and put his tiny little paws on the floorboard of the truck. Our friend called us the next morning to see if we wanted him and of course, we said yes.
It was just several weeks before me and my then boyfriend got married. He was the most well behaved dog. We would take him into the front yard and no matter what was going down the street or the sidewalk, Diesel never wandered off. He loved kids. In fact, he slept
with our little girl.
We had him for the most wonderful 11 years.
We had to put him to sleep on March 16,2006. He had a bad case of Lymphoma. We still cry over our grief of losing him.
He was our best friend.
