We brought Fly home from a farm as a young pup. We loved him with all our hearts and we loved all his funny little ways. He always had a ball in his mouth waiting for a game of catch. He helped us so much in the garden carrying weeds to the compost bin and pulling up plants as we put them in! Every day he would wait for the train that passed the side of our house and chase it down the garden barking with joy. Fly never had a days illness in all his life until one terrible morning he lost the use of one back leg. The vet gave him treatment but by the next day he lost the use of his other leg. He was found to have a spinal disease and sadly nothing could be done. That was the worst day of our lives. We loved him so much and will never ever forget him or the love that he gave us in return. We keep Flys ashes in a beautiful urn on the fireplace where he used to drop his ball waiting for it to be thrown for him.
Sleep tight sweetheart . We love you.
