My husband and I brought Courtney (a 3 month old Aby) home 16 1/2 years ago. At that time we had another Aby who was 5 years old and we thought he needed company. It was love at first sight for everyone who met. My husband and I loved Courtney – and Courtney and the other Aby (Archie) also fell in love.
We were blessed with a beautiful, healthy, sweet animal who only brought joy into our lives and everyone who met her. She was bright, beautiful, demanding but not nasty, affectionate… what can I say – I was blessed. I thought she would live forever. But time went by quickly and because she was so healthy I never realized she was really getting older until this year. Courtney will always be loved and remembered. I am still hurting now as it has only been a few days (April 12, 2004) but I hope someday I will be able to adopt another animal and find
the joy I had with Courtney again!
