She came to us on thanksgiving day.
A gift from god to guide us along the way.
Only 8 inches high with eyes so bright,
she protected us fearlessly with all her might.
Through the years, side by side we became one.
Our love kept growing and we had fun.
Time flew by and she grew weak,
she tried to hold on fighting to keep.
Her pain was so strong we had to let go,
a love so strong, a might heart back to god
for eternal sleep.
