Dear sweet little Athena,
You came into this world not so long ago, seemingly destined to live a very short, tortured life. But because of the heart of a very special woman who saw that your pregnant mother needed help, you were born in a warm, safe and loving home with all of your siblings. You were specially chosen out of all of them though, to give us all a a very special gift and lesson…that although life is short, it’s only love that matters and nothing else. Athena, because you unconditionally loved all who had the good fortune to know you, your life had tremendous meaning and you showed us all that a short life lived in love is much, much better than a long life lived without.
