Dear Sophie,

I miss you so much – you died 6 months ago and still look at your picture and have to hold back my tears.

I was 7 years old when we got you and we spent almost 18 wonderful years together. I’m so sorry I wasn’t there when you died – if it had only happened a couple of days later, I would have been home for the holidays.

You were the funniest dog – such a character, especially when you got older. We grew up together,
did everything together and I’m lonely without you.

I love you so much puppy.
You are always in my mind and
won’t ever forget you.

I miss you and wish I could of been with you at the end.
