Allie by MW / MW

I remember going to my brother’s house only a few hours after Allie was born. She was so tiny I could hold her in the palm of my hand. She was so adorable – she had a white head and a fawn colored body. She was the pick of the litter and I instantly knew she was the one I wanted. I got to take her home when she was five weeks old.

Her body grew too fast for her own good and she needed extra vitamins to get strong. She spent at least a month or so with splints on her legs because she had difficulty walking. In time, she overcame these difficulties. She was friendly and loyal and everyone loved her. The neighbors treated her as if she was their own pet and all of my neices and nephews always loved playing with her.
She was like another member of the family.
I will never forget her.
