Baby
You had to go yesterday. You had been apart of our family for 16 years. We enjoyed you on trips and being at home. You never liked going to the vet but you always felt better on the way home. You never played with a ball but you always found fun in chasing the cat or squirrels and rabbits outside. We enjoyed your company and I know you enjoyed ours by the comforting look you had in your eyes.
I know you are feeling no pain. Up there you are young again chasing rabbits and squirrels. You will always have a bowl full of your favorite food with a piece of cheese every once in a while and a full bowl of fresh cold water. We will miss you a lot so until we see you again be good up there and remember we still love you.
