Benji was the type of dog that many would hate to have
even myself at times. He was a dog that had a mind of his own
and did everything he wanted to.
But what this little dog had in his heart was a big heart full of love.
As the years past I began to get a really close relationship with Benji
and appreciate him as who he was a energetic happy go lucky
dog who never refuse a potato chip when it was offer to him.
I will never forget the day Benji was attacked by a much bigger dog
one day out for a walk. Benji was badly hurt and got rushed to the vet
where I had to make the hard decision of letting him live his rest of his
life in a cartwheel due to a broken spine or just relief him of his pain.
Knowing Benji and how he always was so energetic and hyper I decided
to end his life. Benji not only taught me a great lesson in life about
letting go and when is ok to say good-bye but he also taught
me to love beneath the surface and not to take every
moment for granted I know Benji didn’t.
Thank you Benji for being a special part of
my life for four fun and exciting years.
