Jan. 1998 —– May 30 2000
March 28 1998 was a cool and sunny day.
I along with the company of my parents went to PetSmart to
“look” at rescued puppies. Low and behold there was you
this adorable black very fuzzy little guy.
I took one look at you and asked the volunteer if I could hold
you and when I did I felt love.
As you looked at me I saw love shooting from those big
brown eyes. I then filled out the forms to adopt you.
What to name you the ride home we all threw ideas and
then it hit me “Harley”. You brought me so much joy.
The way you would look at me those big brown eyes and how
your head moved to the sound of my voice and oh how you lifted
your lip slightly. Harley that look and your sweet personality was
and always be forever in my heart.
I can still see it. Your life 2 years and 4 months may have been
short but filled with unconditional love.
On May 30 2000 was the day you were laid to eternal rest
and you once again gave me that look.
Mommy loves you so much.
I miss you.
Someday we will be together again.
