The time we could never come to grips with has now come and gone. It was one of the saddest days we ever had to endure when we had to say goodbye to you and Beau, our beloved Chocolate Lab. You two were always together and will forever be missed by us.
BJ, you were part of our lives before we were married. You were always playful, loved to lie on anything new in the house to give it your scent, loved the sound of crackling paper under your paws and forever found your way into one of our laps for a catnap each day. You ruled the roost, until one day…
And then Beau came and you had to share us with him. Thought at first you didn’t know what to make of him and you were sure he didn’t belong in the house, you quickly grew to be fast friends. If we weren’t home or too busy to sit down, you would curl up next to Beau on his bed and sleep with him. You two were always together and it never ceased to amaze us and others how close you two really were.
BJ, we miss you terribly. We know, though, that you are with Beau and pain free, enjoying all those things that you loved to do for so many years. We remember those years and always will. Someday we’ll all be together again, but until then please know that our love for you will never diminish and our memories of you will never fade.
