Brando by Debbie Feibus / Mom, Dad & Colby

Our Dearest Boy Brando,
It has been some time now since you have left. The beginning of you leaving has hit us so very hard me more than ever. You know you have always been my first child as I would always say. I raised you since you were a pup and with lots of patience you have grown up to be the perfect gentledog.
You and I were best buddies and all we had were each other before Dad came along. I never thought he would warm up to you as he did but you two also become buddies which I loved to see.
I know I tried to give you all the best that I could but you never did tell me that you had a heart problem. I know now that you did not want me to suffer as with the prior losses I went through. You were always there for me and always my shadow which I loved more than anything.

I think of you every single day and you are still all over the house. You have opened my eyes to the dog rescues out there and we did rescue another dog of course a Dal. He is 3 and I remember how you were when you were that age so full of spunk and so difficult to train but so loving. Our new dal has very similar traits that you did when you were 3 and you would love playing with him but he will never ever replace you. Colby still calls Dough Dough but I tell him there’s only one Dough Dough.

You will always be my lovebug and will always be in my heart. We love you and miss you so much but know that you are always here with us.

We love you always
Brando
