You were my once in a lifetime dog.
You were not my first dog nor my last
but there will never be another Brassi.
You captured my heart
when I saw you at your breeder’s home and
you still have my heart.
Although you never had puppies,
I see you in each of the dogs at home:
You trained them well.
You are a champion in my heart and
a role model for the perfect
German Shepherd temperament. Although you did not complete your Championship,
you were a celebrity in German Shepherd World. So many people went
out of their way to see you and
say hello to you.
Your life was far too short.
Thank you for sharing your time on earth with me.
I am a lucky person and
a better person for the time I had with you.
You showed me the power of love and
taught me to make the most of every moment.
I know that you are at the Rainbow Bridge with Uncle Charley and your rival Sara Bear and
I know that Angie has her hands full
with the three of you. I will see you there at the Rainbow Bridge, Rooney Tuney.
