We are Janet and David,
In 1990, we got our little Silky terrier Bridget, she was 10 wks. old, and such a beauty. From the very beginning I knew she was special, she gave us more love, than any family could ever ask for. She made our family complete. She had a very happy life, very spoiled,
yet never acted it.
When she was 7 months old, we got her little brother Jodie, he is a Yorkie, we weren’t sure she liked him at first, but she grew to love him as we did. They had a good 14 yrs. together and then one day,on our vacation to the coast, Bridget became ill.
When we got back home, the Vet said it was her Kidneys, there really wasn’t anything we could do, but we weren’t willing to give up, so we took her to a specialist, all they could do is give her another month of life, so we could say our goodbyes.
Our little Jody will be 17 in April, everyday that he is with us is a blessing. We almost lost him after Bridget died, because he missed her so
much. We finally got him a baby Yorkie named Romeo, and he started living again. Romeo was 2 years old yesterday. He will never take Bridgets place, but he has a special place in our hearts now.
Not a day goes by that we don’t talk about Bridget and some of the funny things she used to do. She was a character, and
made us laugh many,
many times.
We will cherish the memories.
I will always remember how much love she gave
us, I hope she knows we love her just as much today as we always did. No one can ever make us
feel the way she did. She knew everything there
was to know about me, I talked to her more than I’ve ever talked to anyone. She knew all my secrets, my dreams, and my wishes. She will stay in my heart forever.
Your Dad has made your grave so beautiful, he
makes sure everything is just right. Little Jody
visits you all the time. It won’t be long before your together again.
We’ll see you at the Bridge. Wait for us.
We love you Bridget,
Bridget |
