We said Goodbye to you yesterday, and I cannot believe the hole we now have in our hearts and lives. I keep expecting to hear your toenails clicking on the tile, or your relaxed sigh as you rest. I can’t bring myself to clear up your toys. We all miss you and will always hold you in our hearts. You are our beautiful baby boy who wasn’t supposed to be taken from us so soon.
You were only diagnosed with cardiomyopathy a month and a half ago, I wanted more time. We knew you were saying you were tired of fighting, and wanted to sleep. I could see it in your eyes. I hope we did the right thing. Mommy hopes you are in a safe place over the bridge with J.R., Sadie and Kirby. You’ll always be with us wherever we go. Be safe, happy and free of pain and weakness.
