Brutus by Joyce Ferraiuolo / Mommy

It’s been three weeks now. I still listen for your bark when I come home, but I won’t hear it again.

You were my little protector. When you went to work with me you were “security” and you took your job so seriously. You knew just how and where everything should be. Everyone thought you were so cute.

No more going to Dairy Queen for your ice cream, how you loved that, your own little dish.
How you would smile afterward.

So many cute things that you did. How you loved presents, and was like a little child on Christmas morning.

How I miss holding you while you slept, you would cuddle in my arms all night.
My best friend, my big boy I miss you so much

Love you forever,
Brutus
