Buck,
You are my best friend and always will be. I want to thank you for always being there for me and the happiness you brought me. You have been in my life for the last 7 years and I miss you darling. I miss the way you waited at the top of the stairs for your bedtime sweeties; the way you nearly flooded the kitchen every time you had a drink; the way you always knew how I was feeling, when I was down you always knew what to do to cheer me up. I even miss the clumsiness, the accidents and traumas you always had, like the time you ran head first into the car door.
We had some rough times Buckley but we stuck together and we always came out smiling. You gave me so much happiness, made my life complete.
You never rested Buck, always up and down and ferretting around, frightened of missing something, especially food.
Granny misses you, too, darling; you were always ‘the best dog in the world’. She misses cooking your liver and the way you tried to climb into the basket knowing there would always be some treats in there for you.
The day you were taken from me was the worst day of my life; we weren’t supposed to be apart. We’re a pair, I’m not whole without you. It’s hard Bucky, very hard. I miss everything about you. Nobody will ever take your place Buckley, you are special, one of a kind. You will always be in my heart. You were always brave, right to the end. I am so proud of you. One day we will be together again Bucks, have a big cuddle waiting for me. I love you Buck
