Bunners by Alexis Hofer / I love you, Mommy

My bunny was the nicest bunny I have ever met. I loved him so much, I didn’t realize his life would come to an end.It was right after school ended when we took him to the vet. The vet said he wasn’t doing so well.He had trouble going to the bathroom. On June 9 we went to a picnic and told him we would be back soon. When we came back my mom went to go see him, she came out of the door tearing. I knew what it meant. I didn’t know what to do at the moment…I held him and he was stiff as a board. In one position. My heart just split in half seeing him in that way. He waited for me to leave him so I wouldn’t see him go. My whole family was crying because he was the only one that I sincerely loved. Watching go into that box was like never seeing yourself in a mirror. I put a picture of us so he can remember and watch me. All I have of him is our memories and pictures.

Your always in my heart,
Bunners
