I still feel numb when I think of that morning you were suffering and I could do nothing to help you.You thought we were just going for another car ride, but you didn’t know it would be your last. As your daddy carried you into the vet I heard the sad words I had to give you to god now.
I cried as I held your sweet face in my hands I told you it’s ok to let go now mommies here. Then they gave you the shot and you closed your sweet brown eyes and were gone. I know the sadness of losing you will never go away, but I know I will see you again until then my sweet Buster dog rest in peace and know that you have taken my heart with you and will not be forgotten.
