I first laid eyes on Jake in 1985.
From that moment, I knew that love at first sight was possible. For the next 15 and a half years, we took care of each other, protected each other, loved each other. We never strayed far from each other, and we would play for hours or take a walk to the swimming hole. Jake went to Heaven on June 26, 2001 with me by his side.
I miss him dearly, and now, 2 years later, I have another Labrador named Kia, and I know he is watching her from Rainbow Bridge and he loves her too. Until we meet again Jake….xoxo
