Nicky my best friend you made me laugh with the silly
things you do you made me cry when it was your turn to go
how I miss the fun times we had together when I was down you
always cheered me up how we use to play games
you loved that, our talks you loved to talk.
Its been a year since you left me and I miss you so very much
I miss all the things we did.
The day you died I new you wasn’t your self and when mom
told me you wasn’t answering to her call I ran down
beside you until you went to sleep.
People would say he’s just a dog but you were more then that ,
you are my best friend and I miss my best friend.
I’ve lost many pets and they all have a special place in my heart.
