Although I am a stranger not having known JAKE or his family I am writing up this heartfelt tribute for him. I feel this “gift” is the least I could do to show THE FROST FAMILY that there are still good people in this world that truly care about their loss.

I came upon JAKE’S STORY while surfing the web under Basset Hound Rescue Organizations. His story and the pain he has suffered touched my heart.

About 2 weeks ago JAKE a 15 year old basset hound owned by THE FROST FAMILY in Michigan was stolen from his back yard. He was tortured for 2 weeks by humans not fit to inhabit this earth. When the “trash” that stole him had their “fun” with him they threw him from their car. This event was noticed by a passing motorist who called 911. The police took him to a nearby vet who contacted the Frosts. As JAKE laid there dying he saw the faces of his beloved family then mercifully passed away to Animal Heaven.

On behalf of all animal lovers everywhere I wish to express my heartfelt sympathy to THE FROST FAMILY. My prayers reach out to you in your time of great pain. I know what it is like to loss a beloved pet and I share your pain.

I am making a small contribution to the Michigan Basset Rescue to help you find the evil vermin who did this to JAKE. I will pray everyday that they are found. When they are found I hope the judge throws the “book” at them and they are made to pay dearly for this senseless crime. Also GOD in heaven hears our prays that HE will make certain these criminals pay for this evil act with eternal suffering.

Please rest assured knowing that JAKE is now in God’s kingdom and he is happy for all the love you gave him. He is free now – at peace – and no longer in pain.

JAKE is now a little angel in heaven. He will be waiting there for you

when it is your time to leave this earth.

God Bless you,

Rick Shannon and Austin Frost.

I hope that time will heal your pain.

God Bless you JAKE

a wonderful dog –
