Parker — I met you at the Dog Park — How ironic. Amongst all the people there, you followed me. Actually, you found me. Twice I turned around in different areas of the park and there you were. Such a sweet face. A face that made people smile

I adopted you and brought you home. Almost immediately you were attached to me. You couldn’t get close enough. You couldn’t show me enough love. But, you did. You just kept trying to give more.

Well, a gate opened and a few minutes too late before I noticed you were gone. I still can’t understand how it happened so fast and I missed it all. I am so sorry that I didn’t have your tags on and I am especially sorry for any time I did not pay enough attention to you. I am grateful to the guys who picked you up in their truck and held you all the way to the vet. I am glad you were not alone. Parker — You are missed by so many people and you leave us all with the heart warming memory of your angelic face, your loving eyes, and your never ending quest for treats. I love you.

P.S. The drawer is still full of treats, so feel free any time you want to grab some.

Forever in our hearts,
Betsy
