Eight years ago, when we saved you as a frail pup from the streets, we had no idea of the amount of love, tenderness, happiness and life’s fulfillment and blessings that we would receive from you in return for what we did. Losing you was like a part of us dieing.

There will be no more swims in the ocean that you love so much, nor will there be walks in the woods. You, however are forever indelibly etched in our hearts and minds. You where the happiest dog I have ever known in my life. You loved talking to us and you did so in a way that we understood. You’re talking was mostly about getting food, but we enjoyed talking to you too.

Your little pal “Rocket” misses you and looks for you every day. It is knowing that we will cross over the “Rainbow Bridge” one day and be with you again sweet Hopper.

We gained a great deal of insight and understanding from your life with us and I truly believe are better people because of you. You are forever in our hearts and lives and we will continue to miss you, and we will be the very best we can be.

Love,
Dave and Joyce Overstreet
