Spotvester you found our yard around 1990. You were a wild little one and I had to trap you to have you “fixed”. Although I couldn’t pick you up you were always waiting for your breakfast and dinner. As the years passed you mellowed a little and I was able to pick you up. Always from behind. That way you couldn’t see me coming. You were our Zia and Otmar’s buddy. Both of them your canine brother and sister.
We moved to a new house in 2000 and although you were unfamiliar and disappeared for a day (until Otmar found you in one of the parks near by) you were always here at home. How I wanted to make you an indoor kitty. Your short visits indoors always ended with you waiting to go back outside. In April 2004 you grew weak and I knew it was time to say goodbye. I miss your little face by the back door in the morning waiting for breakfast and when I got home from work waiting for dinner. You never missed a meal.
I think about you everyday and miss you everyday as does Otmar. Chase the birdies and lizards my precious little boy.
