I went to the store 9 years ago and the store manager asked me if I wanted a dog, I said let me see them he took me to a room and in a cage were several dogs. This one little puppy stood out and I opened the cage and picked him up and I fell in love with him.. I took him and I decided to call him Rusty.. Over the years we grew real close and he was my little shadow following me everywhere.. I could always count on him…
2 days ago I took him to the Vet he wasnt eating the vet took Xrays and she said it was serious my baby had cancer I was shocked and didn’t know what to say and the only option was to put him to sleep. I told him I was sorry and I loved him and that I would see him in heaven someday and he patted me a couple of times and I kissed him one final time and the tears started rolling down my face I am sorry Rusty I hope that you don’t hate me but I didn’t want you to suffer or hurt I love you so much… so put your puppy shoes on a be happy I will never forget you ever stop loving you..Thank you for being the best dog ever…
