I would like anyone who reads this to keep in mind 2 things. Emerson was brought to the shelter some time in March, when the staff vet checked him they found he had untreatable cancer! They couldn’t adopt him out, so they spoiled him and kept him in the front office.
I have been volunteering there for about three years now. I always go once a week. I would bring Emerson chicken and I would take him on long walks. I came on the weekends and took him to Ramapo park. he loved to walk around the lake. he never decerved the life he got! He was special. If you ever go to a shelter and see a dog with treatable cancer please donate to him.
Emerson would appreciate it if you help those that have cancer. No dog should die just because the shelter doesn’t have the money to treat him/her. Volunteer at a shelter and spend time with the dogs with uncurable illnesses.
Emerson thanks all animal lovers for their kindness!

I Love You Emy,
